Helping Mr. Elric Charity Collab Tagger

Helping Mr. Elric Charity Collab is a kit created for the son of  two designers who sell in this store, Scraps By Storm and Childress Imaging. Thier son Elric, 7 years old, was diagnosed with DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) a rare form of brain stem cancer. There are only 200 diagnosed cases a year in the US and there is no cure. Elric's first diagnosis was stage 4 with 6 months to live. The swelling from the tumor effected the right side of his body, his hand, his foot, his face droops down on the right side and he has to have help eating.


The family did some research and found an experimental study at St.Jude with results of patients living 10 years or more. The whole family packed up and went the 1,000 miles to St.Jude to start Elric on his treatments. The doctors there believe that with positive treatments he will live a healthy life. Packign up and  going to St.Jude has taken a toll on the family's income as the father was self employed and he now has to spend his days watching their smallest child , Kat 3 years old, while Elric and his mom are taking care of his treatments.

This kit is made by a group of designers that were touched by Elric's story and felt the need to help them out in their time of need. All proceeds of this kit go to the family.
