BabyVDezign PSP Tutorial Welcome

This tutorial was written in PSPX2 but is also compatible with all PSP versions.
You will also need a basic working knowledge of PSP for this tutorial
Items used in this tutorial are as follows:
You may find them here
a mask or you can use the one in the supplies zip
a misted background
a tube of your choice
(If you are the author of the mask in the zip please contact me so I can give you proper credit)
The tube I used is Red Head by Ted Hammond
(his images are pay to use only. You may find them here)
Make a new transparent image 600 X 600
Flood fill with color of choice
Open your mask in PSP
Go to Layer,
New Mask Layer
from image
Use the following settings

hit ok
go to layers
merge group
Copy tube of choice and paste as new layer on your working image.
Go to layers
duplicate
click on bottom tube
Go to effects,
3d effects,
and click on drop shadow.
Use the following settings

2 v 2 h opacity 53 Blur 11 color black
Click ok.
Now click on the top layer. This should be your tube and go to adjust,
Blur,
blur more
Got to your layer pallette and lower the opacity on this layer anywhere between 60 and 50 %.
This all depends on personal preference.
If you are using a copyrighted tube now is the time to place the copyright information and your license number on your
working image where it will be visible.
Now go to your preset shapes tool and click on ellipse.
Make sure that you have Ellipse chosen in your settings bar.
These are the following settings you should have chosen on your settings bar

For this part you will need your ruler settings on
View and click on rulers.
This may be in a different spot depending on what version of PSP you are using.
Now go back to your working image and there should be numbers on the left side and the top.
You should still have your preset shape tool active.
You need to start drawing your shape at 100 and 100
Drag to about 500 by 500 and make sure there is some substance to the shape.
The shape we just made is created on vector so you can mess with the shapes size after it is drawn to get the perfect size you want.
Now click on your text tool
Chose the font, size and color that you want to use for this image.
I chose A Dark Wedding at 18 points
Take your text tool to the left side of the ellipse you drew.
Run your text tool over the ellipse till you see a little smile underneath the A.
Once you have that smile then click,
start writing what you want your tag to say.
Make sure you create your text on vector in case you need to adjust it.
In your layer pallette you will see where your text is named vector and there will be a plus sign beside it.

Click on the plus sign and and you will then see three layers
The bottom layer is the circle.
Click the eye on it and it will make the shape disappear, but keep your font curved.
Now click the minus sign now ( was once the plus sign)
Go to Effects,
3d effects,
drop shadow and use the same settings as before
but use the color white instead of black ( this all depends on the two colors you picked out to use).
You can add detail or embellishments if you want in the center area of the mask I added a misted background and lowered the opacity on it to 23%
or if you like the result you have already then follow the last step.
After you are pleased with your results go to
layers
merge visible,
and then save as PNG.
Thank you for doing my tutorial
